- This is a machine that performs linear friction welding via a center drive manner, in which specimens to be joined are pressed from the left and right simultaneously against a material that is linearly driven in the center. It is a new joining device that can apply different loads to the left and right specimens at the same time, and join dissimilar materials that are difficult to join to obtain a high joint quality (such as steels and aluminum alloys).
